Burning Man and my semi-naked friends
Desert on your skin, under your nails, and in your sleeping bag. Waking up to dub step, scorching arid heat and the booty dance. Those sunsets though. It’s an addiction, we have a dependence and associated withdrawls. Only 9 months (273 days exactly) to go until the gates open on Burning Man 2015.
Why you should go to Burning Man
I was thinking about you as the sun melted the shea butter I had just smoothed on my skin. It was hot and impossible to imagine that it would get even hotter during the day. The air smelled of propane but I had almost got used to it. The desert was kind to us today. No storm. Just the noise of shoes scraping the sand, hard sand that every night turned to a silk road. People were heading back from raves, to their tents to regain energy for tonights’ rave.
I was riding back from the Beaver camp’s workshop about female ejaculation. The bike was without gear and stubborn to ride. But it’s ok. I’m at fucking Burning Man!

Burning Man 2015 prep begins…
Yup, it’s December 2014 and we are already starting work for OKNOTOK at Burning Man in 2015. Some call us insane, some roll their eyes and say its ‘too early’. But if you are a Burner, ask yourself honestly, does it ever ‘stop’ once you are introduced to the culture and experience of Black Rock City?
While some will relish the time off between Burns, others continue building, making, and turning inspiration into reality, lighting up the sky in August. Without giving away the fun details about what is in the works for camp OKNOTOK, there will be some changes and new sights to behold. Make sure you party with us on the Playa in 2015!
Spirituality & Community-Building Through Burning Man
Burning Man creates a city in a desert every year that lasts for a week, and then is completely removed.
